TrustDefender extends
Global Partnerships in the Middle East,
Asia Pacific and Australia
Sydney Australia, March
7, 2007 ---
TrustDefender is pleased to announce that, due to demand, they have extended
their international reseller/integration partnerships, with agreements now formed
with numerous companies around the globe for the distribution of ‘TrustDefender
Security Solutions’.
“There are major issues arising from the
growing incidence of online crime within the Banking and Financial Services industry
globally. As a result, we are increasingly seeing the need for security
applications that go beyond existing two factor authentication solutions such as
the tokens, virtual keyboard, SMS or the out-of-band security solutions and a
need to provide a much more user-friendly reliable level of security and
protection for their customers,” commented Ted Egan, Chief Executive
Officer and Co-Founder of TrustDefender.
“We are frequently being contacted by senior
executives, including Risk Managers, CIOs and CISOs who are eager to learn how
they can further reduce the incidence of online criminal activity and give
their customers an extra level of protection at the PC or mobile computing
device end of business,” he added.
Since
launching the TrustDefender Enterprise Server offering in November 2006, TrustDefender
has commenced work on a number of projects with international organisations in the
Banking and Government sectors. This has in turn led to the establishment of preferred
business partnerships in the Middle East, Asia and the United States.
The newest partners to join the TrustDefender
distribution network are PT Murni Solusindo Nusantara from Indonesia, Paramount
Computer Services & Rueya - both from the UAE - and Australian company ICE
Systems.
Paramount
Computer Systems (PCS), based in Dubai, provides
services to a wide range of organisations in the Government, Banking and the Oil
industries across most Middle Eastern countries, as well as Pakistan and India. PCS is the leading regional
provider of the products and services used for securing enterprises’
information assets.
Rueya,
also based in Dubai, is a growing information technology
services company that delivers planning, project management and integration
services to the Financial Services, Banking, Government and Oil industries
across the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia,
UAE and Qatar.
Indonesia’s leading Banking solutions company, PT.
Murni
supplies services the Banking, Government, Oil and Gas industries throughout
Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia and has partnered with TrustDefender to
introduce and implement the TrustDefender Security Solutions to these markets
in their region.
Christian Liadinata, President of PT Murni
commented,
“TrustDefender is a next generation online security solution that goes
beyond the current token security solutions used to secure customer
transactions by Indonesia’s leading Banks. PT Murni is pleased to partner with
TrustDefender to introduce and implement world class online security
solutions that ensures Indonesian Banks remain ahead when protecting their
customers from Online Criminals”.
ICE
Systems, based in Sydney Australia, supplies services to the Banking, Government
and SME markets throughout Australia and Singapore. A specialist systems
integrator, the company specialises in the design, procurement and deployment
of systems and solutions for corporate Australia and will utilise the
TrustDefender Security Solutions to extend the value offering they provide to
their clients.
Richard
Metcalfe General Manager for ICE Systems commented “At ICE Systems we continually focus on providing integrated best of breed solutions and
services to our customers and our partnership with TrustDefender will certainly
contribute to that. With the sophistication, volume and awareness of fraudulent
attacks on the rise we were seeing a reduction in consumer confidence in
relation to using online solutions provided by businesses.
“TrustDefender provides assurances and education to the consumer, as
well as visibility of known and unknown threats to the business so that it can
then take the necessary steps regarding any e-transaction. TrustDefender is a
very powerful solution for any business that wants to increase not only the
security of their e-transactions but consumer confidence in their brand as
well,” he added.
The
establishment of partnerships with these international companies puts
TrustDefender on an aggressive growth path to further reduce the impact of
online fraudulent activity around the globe.
“With awareness of TrustDefender growing
among Banks, Governments and Corporations globally we are also seeing our international
partnerships grow based on referral from these businesses. These selected partnerships
now allow us to identify new opportunities and deliver TrustDefender’s range of
security solutions to market. We feel confident that TrustDefender will become a
leading user-friendly security solution in the fight against online crime,”
said Mr Egan.
