Andreas Baumhof, Director. Andreas is the Chief Technical Officer and Co-founder of TrustDefender. He is an ideas guy and a thought leader with deep experience in the Encryption, PKI, Phishing Space. Andreas was formerly a co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Microdasys Inc. (US) - a leading provider of Deep Content Security Solutions. He developed the first ever SSL Proxy and has patent pendings in Europe and in the US.

Andreas holds a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Munich/Germany. He moved permanently to Australia in 2003.

Ted Egan, Director. Ted is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of TrustDefender. He brings over 20 years experience in the ICT industry to the company. His focus is leading a team of technology thought leaders that are wiling to break new ground in the security technology space 'that works' and is commercially profitable for the shareholders.

Prior to the establishment of TrustDefender, Ted fulfilled previous roles include a role as sales director of a small Australia Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP), practice development manager for a leading European based global telecommunications provider; building one of Australia's initial safe internet content providers in the late 90's and building a  successful career as an advertising executive for a leading Australian media company.

His career in information technology, online security and telecommunications began when he joined the Australian Defence Force in the mid 80's serving in the Weapons Electrical Engineering and Communications arm for nearly a decade.
